Here is the Nashville transect data.  Sorry it took so long 
to send, but I could not find the file.  I finally got a 
message back from Lee in Africa and located the data.  He 
asked me to put a note on the file stating that it is 
preliminary, may contain errors, and that it should not be 
distributed until an error-checked version is available.  

I could not find map coordinates for the transects, the 
following is my best recollection of their locations:

PJ = ?
OF = Olivet Forest, trees NE of cemetery (adjacent to boundary)
OC = Olivet Cemetery, central area
SP = Shelby Park, west of lake on ridge top
DT = Dixon Transect, end of Dixon Dr.
PO = Piercy Priest, west of PP Reservoir in Hamilton Creek area
PP = Piercy Priest, west of PP Reservoir in Hamilton Creek area
TT = Tiffany Transect, end of Tiffany Dr.
WW = Water Treatment Plant north of Olivet Cemetery


The file is an Excel 5.0 Worksheet (binary data), be sure to 
set the file transfer mode to binary if you have a choice.
To retrieve the files with Mosaic or Netscape enter the path:
http://alex.acd.ucar.edu  and follow the instructions on the screen.
If you are using Mosaic turn on the "Load to Local Disk" option located
under the Options Menu before downloading the data.  If you are using
Netscape and get a screen full of 'garbage' then choose the "Save As" option
located under the File Menu and save the file to your hard drive.
